Aquarium of The Pacific near 442 Residences in downtown Long Beach

Call of the Wild: Aquarium of the Pacific, Wildlife Parks & Zoos Now Open

Exciting news. The Aquarium of the Pacific is open for outdoor exhibits, so you can see the sea lions, prattle with the penguins, and jiggle with the jellies. Did you know that Southern California has a summer whale watching season? Most people associate whale watching with winter, when Pacific gray whales make their annual migration. In summer, you have a chance to view entirely different species, and cool off at sea on a hot day. Have you heard, the babies are booming at SoCal zoos. Our wildlife parks and zoos – many just an hour or two from 442 Residences – are sanctuaries for endangered species with breeding programs to keep these precious creatures thriving. So get ready to answer the call of the wild. The animals are waiting for you.
